Looking for something to do on Christmas Day?
Join Shir Hadash Synagogue on Wednesday, December 25, at 4 p.m. for a sensational, sing-along screening of that famous movie about that guy who likes to play his stringed instrument on the rooftops of his shtetl and imagine what it would be like to be a rich man. You’ll also enjoy a delicious kosher Chinese buffet.
The movie screening will be held at Shir Hadash’s new building, 200 W. Dundee Road in Wheeling. The admission fee is $18 for adults and $12 for children ages 10 and under. Registration is required by December 22. To register, go to www.shir-hadash.org.
According to Shir Hadash’s Executive Vice President Glenn Graff, “This should be a fantastic, fun-filled evening. Given how much we like to sing at Shir Hadash, this is a natural for us and the start of a great new tradition. For those of us not going to Florida for vacation, what could be a better on a cold winter night than Chinese food and singing along with a great Jewish musical?”
Take part in our new “Tradition,” singing, dining, and enjoying the company of friends and family! After all, you were going for Chinese and a movie anyway, right? Of course, right!
