Basketball: Ex-Stevenson star Richter earns D3hoops.com honor

Ex-Stevenson star Dylan Richer, a senior guard at Washington University in St. Louis, has been named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.
Richter has been on fire. He scored 23 points in his team’s 83-78 win over Rochester on Friday. He then tallied a career-high 33 points on nine three-pointers in a 99-88 win over ranked Emory on Sunday.
Richter shot 64.3 percent from the field in the Bears’ two victories, which came over two of preseason favorites in the University Athletic Association (UAA). He was 12-for-20 from three-point range, while he connected on 8-of-10 from the foul line in the two wins.
It’s Richter’s first appearance on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week, which recognizes the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week’s action.
