Longfellow Elementary School student Jacob Moodhe received a VIP ride to school recently, when he rolled up to the Buffalo Grove school in a fire truck.

Jacob won his ride on Halloween, while he and his family were trick-or-treating. Buffalo Grove firefighters were also out that night, handing out free goodie bags, and 10 of those bags contained “golden tickets” for rides on trucks. When Jacob opened his bag, he found one of the tickets.

He and his brother Trevor rode to school aboard Tower 25.
