Buffalo Grove, Long Grove natives succeed on campus

Buffalo Grove

MacKenzie Logan and Elaine Zielinski, both of Buffalo Grove, have been named to the Fall 2012 dean’s list at Elmhurst College.

Matthew Epstein of Buffalo Grove and a junior at Western Illinois University has been inducted into the Western Illinois Chapter of the Golden Key International Honor Society.

The following Buffalo Grove students have earned their degrees from Western Illinois University: Justin M. Goldberg, Master of Arts, Sociology; Jessica Jamie Resnick, Bachelor of Arts, Communication.

Alexis Larson and Justin Feng, both of Buffalo Grove, have been named to the Fall 2012-2013 Dean’s List at Illinois Wesleyan University.

The following Buffalo Grove students, have been named to the Fall 2012 Dean’s List at Bradley University in Peoria. Erika K Ahlers, Lauren E. Antkowiak, Allison L. Elster, Sarah L. Handler, Jeffrey S. Kaiser, Mark J. Lehtman, Haley P. Levinson, Mitchell B. Liss, Michael E. Miller, Rebecca L. Sauer, Jessica L. Schmidly, Danielle A. Smith, Elizabeth A. Strba, Jordan J. Thomason, Lauren W. Zucker

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi announces that Sara Berkowicz of Buffalo Grove, was recently initiated into Phi Kappa Phi - the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Berkowicz is pursuing a degree in Finance at Kansas State University.

John Shim of Buffalo Grove, a second-year student in Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf, has been named to their Fall 2012 quarter dean’s list.

Emily Jensen of Buffalo Grove has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2012 semester at Eastern Michigan University. Jensen is a 2012 graduate of Stevenson High School.

Larry Schoeneman of Buffalo Grove earned his Master of Science degree from Bradley University.

The following Buffalo Grove students have earned their Bachelor of Arts degrees from Bradley University: Thomas Norman Galla; Rebecca Lyn Sauer - cum laude; Jessica Lynn Schmidly - magna cum laude; Rebecca Marlee Turoff - magna cum laude.

Long Grove

Carol Rita Mullarkey of Long Grove, has earned her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Western Illinois University.

Kathryn Bulandr of Long Grove, has been named to the Fall 2012-2013 dean’s list at Illinois Wesleyan University.
