‘Prize Patrol’ visits Buffalo Grove schools

BUFFALO GROVE — The new year began with visits by the Prize Patrol to all seven of Kildeer Countryside Elementary School District 96’s buildings.

The Prize Patrol is a part of the District 96 Foundation, and it spent two days awarding and recognizing teachers and other staff members whose grant projects displayed innovation. Twelve such projects stood out:

• Country Meadows: Robert Hanrahan

• Ivy Hall: Jessica Mandell and Ed Koday

• Kildeer Countryside: Michelle Schumer, Lisa A. Jones, and Marilee Sarlitto

• Twin Groves: Chanelle Savich, Kim Mollerdino, Michelle Garlick

• Willow Grove: Bethany Loyd and Kristen Eide

• Woodlawn: Liz Kile and Jessica Woods

• Michelle Ponsolle-Mayes, who services Prairie, Ivy Hall, Twin and Woodlawn
