Register online for the Suburban Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes, which will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at Didier Farm in Buffalo Grove.

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. the day of the walk.

There is also a Step Out Walk day of event party to celebrate the fund-raising accomplishments of teams and individual participants, as well as an opportunity to promote awareness about diabetes, meet and mingle with others who have diabetes and learn about what the local American Diabetes Association has to offer in terms of advocacy support, educational community programs, youth programs and other events.

A City Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes will be held Oct. 22 on the front lawn of Soldier Field in Chicago.

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., with the walk beginning at 10 a.m.

Fund-raising dollars will go toward research to prevent, cure and manage diabetes; deliver services to hundreds of communities; provide objective and credible information; and give voice to individuals denied their rights because of diabetes.
