Ferreira spent a summer working for the CBS Early Show in New York City and another summer as a White House intern in Washington, D.C. After being the on-air reporter for two years at the Fox affiliate in Las Vegas, Ferreira missed the changing seasons of the Midwest and chose to come home. She can be seen on South Bend’s channel 22.
