The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Buffalo Grove Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Ronald H. Dietz, 63, of the 3200 block of North Volz Drive East, Arlington Heights, was arrested Dec. 3 at the intersection of Dundee Road and Betty Drive and charged with driving under the influence. He also was cited for an illegal turn and violating a restricted license.

Kyukichi Nakamura, 61, of the 1700 block of Chesapeake Lane, Schaumburg, was arrested Dec. 9 at the intersection of Lake-Cook and Ridge roads and charged with DUI. Nakamura also was cited for illegal lane use.

David A. Lloyd, 50, of the first block of N. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, was arrested Dec. 9 at the intersection of Dundee Road and Carriageway Drive and charged with DUI. He also was cited for speeding and driving without insurance.

LEAVING THE SCENE

Woon Jae Vinithkumnuan, 62, of the 1600 block of Mill Street, Des Plaines, was arrested Dec. 8 at Milwaukee Avenue and Johnson Drive and charged with leaving the scene of a property-damage accident and illegal lane use.

DRUGS

Jacobe E. Umoren, 20, of the 900 block of Westmoreland Street, Vernon Hills, was arrested Dec. 4 at Lake-Cook Road and Raupp Boulevard and charged with possession of marijuana. He also was cited for failing to yield.

Joel Mark Gilbert, 26, of the 1400 block of Inverrary Lane, Deerfield, was arrested Dec. 9 at Dundee and Arlington Heights roads and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He also was cited for having no license, registration or insurance.

Roderick Anthony Dunwell, Jr., 23, of the 400 block of James Court, Glendale Heights, was arrested Dec. 2 on the 700 block of South Buffalo Grove Road and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. He also was charged with theft.
