Buffalo Grove Park District presents ‘Thoroughly Modern Millie’

The Buffalo Grove Park District’s Big Deal Productions invites you to join them for their Young Adult Theatre performance of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” Taking place in New York City in 1922, “Thoroughly Modern Millie” tells the story of young Millie Dilmount, who has just moved to the city in search of a new life for herself. It’s a New York full of intrigue and jazz. A time when women were entering the workforce and the rules of love and social behavior were changing forever. Based on the popular movie, the stage version includes a full score of new songs and bright dance numbers. Performances will be held at the Suzanne E. Hannon Stage at Ivy Hall School, located at 1072 Ivy Hall Lane in Buffalo Grove, and are scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 10; 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Feb. 11; and 3 p.m. Feb. 12.
