Cubs broadcaster Pat Hughes spoke about the team and broadcasting with Ron Santo during an event Feb. 1 at the Highland Park Hospital Health and Fitness Center, 1501 Busch Parkway in Buffalo Grove.
Proceeds from the event, which was to include a silent auction and raffle, will go toward the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, www.jdrfillinois.org.
