Buffalo Grove resident receives nursing honor

Alison Epstein, RN, BSN, GRN, of Buffalo Grove, was presented with the DAISY AWARD for her compassionate and dedicated care to her patients at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Her work with a patient with cystic fibrosis was so exceptional that the patient’s mother reached out to several individuals to share how grateful she was.
The DAISY Award is a prestigious, merit-based award that honors not only great clinical skill and leadership, but also strong care and compassion.
