While conducting overnight property checks May 8, officers found businesses with doors left unlocked on the 700 and 800 blocks of Buffalo Grove Road.

A resident of the 1100 block of Dayton told police that someone called her numerous times on May 11, claiming to be a distant relative and asking repeatedly for help with buying a car.

An iPhone and sunglasses were stolen May 6 after they were left in a bathroom on the 100 block of North Arlington Heights Road.
