Buffalo Grove police blotter for Jan. 3, 2013

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Buffalo Grove Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

BATTERY

Jenette J. Zisman, 35, of the 800 block of Essington Lane, Buffalo Grove, was arrested Dec. 22 at her residence and charged with domestic battery.

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA

Armando Martin, 21, of the 200 block of Cindy Lane, Wheeling; and Lillia Nava-Villalobos, 21, of the 400 block of Tahoe Circle, Wheeling; were arrested Dec. 27 on Dundee Road east of Buffalo Grove Road and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Martin also received citations for illegal lane use and driving without insurance.

Benjamin Gerald Zeller, 22, of the 200 block of North Normal, Macomb, was arrested Dec. 24 on Dundee Road west of Buffalo Grove Road and charged with possession of marijuana.

Officers arrested a 16-year-old from Buffalo Grove on Dec. 26 at the intersection of St. Mary’s Parkway and Navajo Trail, who they charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

ALCOHOL

Oscar Alvarez, 26, of the 2300 block of South Cannon Drive, Mount Prospect, was arrested Dec. 22 at the intersection of Dundee and Weidner roads and charged with illegal transportation of open liquor. He also was cited for speeding and driving without a license.
