BUFFALO GROVE — An unmasked man got away with an undisclosed amount cash Monday after robbing a bank on Lake-Cook Road in Buffalo Grove, police said.

According to a report from Dep. Chief Steve Husak, a white male, about 5-foot-8, wearing glasses and a Chicago Bears beanie hat, walked into the PNC Bank, 1177 W. Lake-Cook Road, at 4:50 p.m. Monday and demanded money from the teller.

The man did not display or infer possession of a weapon, the police report stated. He fled the bank on foot and no one was harmed.

The FBI is assisting Buffalo Grove officers with the investigation.
