Painter in Buffalo Grove nude on job

Updated: September 17, 2012 12:35PM

A contractor working on a house in Buffalo Grove allegedly took the phrase “painting a nude figure” in a really wrong direction this week.

According to the police report, a family living at an undisclosed Buffalo Grove location hired a painter to paint some of their rooms; on Monday morning, a female resident was sleeping in her bedroom while the painter worked in another bedroom.

At 10:20 a.m., the woman awoke, walked into the hallway and looked into the bedroom where the painter was working.

“The contractor was only wearing a tool belt, socks and shoes,” the report states.

The woman did not speak with the man but called her mother, who called 911. When the police arrived, they “asked the contractor to get dressed.” The mother then told the painter to leave the house, and he did.

The resident declined to press charges.
